My work mainly focuses on healthcare governance and organisation. Typically, I focus on the Danish healthcare services, but I also undertake international comparative analyses. I am interested in how government technologies, such as performance-based management, accreditation, quality measurement and rankings, shape professional practices. Furthermore, I have a long-term interest in state regulation of the pharmaceutical market.

I employ a range of qualitative methods in my work, including observation, interviews, focus groups and document analysis. I also have experience with literature reviews.

Before I came to VIVE, I completed a PhD at the Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. I was part of the Centre for Medical Science and Technology Studies, and I have been fortunate to be able to continue working with colleagues there.
