Daycare, School and Education
VIVE conducts a wide range of studies in the areas of day care, schools and education, covering both in-depth qualitative studies of, for example, inclusion and students’ experience of the school day, as well as larger statistical studies of, for example, school management, educational barriers or adults’ continuing education.
VIVE is also involved in classroom research experiments and conducts ongoing evaluations of major reforms in the field of education, such as the Danish school reform, the inclusion reform or the VET (vocational education and training) reform. Furthermore, VIVE conducts a large number of research mappings in the field of education.
In several analyses, VIVE has a special focus on more vulnerable groups, such as pupils with special needs, ethnic minorities, etc., who may be on the edge of the education system.
For day care centres, schools and education, VIVE has a special focus on children and adolescents in vulnerable positions, the work with inclusive learning environments and initiatives to strengthen and promote well-being, learning and professional development for children and adolescents.
