This topic brings together research and analyses on people in Denmark in different kinds of marginalised and vulnerable positions. For instance, people whose lives are characterised by poverty, physical and mental distress, crime or loneliness. VIVE carries out research into which initiatives work and make a difference for the individual citizen and society as a whole.

The social sector covers a vast area and deals in various ways with the living conditions of the Danish people. This area of research focuses on the most vulnerable groups in society. These include people whose lives are characterised by poverty, physical and mental distress, crime or loneliness. VIVE prepares analyses and conducts research into which initiatives work and make a difference for the individual citizen and society as a whole.
