In the period 2006-2010, Landsbyggefonden distributed a pool of DKK 2.2 billion to social housing interventions and rent support. This report maps which housing areas have received funding, and includes a programme evaluation of the pool.
The report shows that the preliminary interventions have had a positive impact on the housing areas, however it also identifies where there is room for improvement in the application procedure and in organisation of the interventions.
The report recommends, amongst other things, that annual calls for application are introduced to create continuity in interventions; that the housing areas receive more support and professional consultation; and that Landsbyggefonden establishes a process support secretariat.
The report is the first in a series of reports which deal with different topics related to the 2006-2010 pool.
The study has been commissioned and financed by Landsbyggefonden.
